This is an LP recorded in the aftermath of hearing Cocteau Twins for the first time, feeling a certain kinship with the track Aloysius, and the subsequent creative outpouring that occurs when beauty inspires human thought.

Cocteau Twins are a group that I have "evaded" for a while now, hearing bits and pieces about them, but knowing them precious, wonderful and ethereal - I do what I've always done with music I know will affect me; waiting for the proper moment to receive it. A friend placed Aloysius in a mix she gave me, and once I heard it, I listened again and again, finding a copy of Treasure so as to fully absorb that particular era of dreamy, otherworldly music.

This record is also inspired by Bridget Riley, Woo, Broadcast, Bibio, bildungsroman tales, the Schuylkill River, Dave Bixby, Caribou, Ashley + Chen, emotional upheaval, the Tibetan Book of the Dead, hauntology, time passage, tDCS, and the transience of existence.

Enjoy, and try giving it a listen straight through. This record is a document of intense inspiration, receiving direction through internal intuition, at a time where my identity and direction in life are changing in incredible ways. Thank you kindly.
